Welcome to the Olive Tree Bible App! We hope this article helps get you started with the app.
If you have not already done so, download the Olive Tree Bible App from the App Store!
Main Icons of the App
- Main Menu - Access Messages, Reading History, Annotations, Sync, and Help content for the app.
- Library - Download and access your books and Bibles.
- Reading Plans - Set up and access your reading plan to help you read through Scripture.
- Store - Purchase additional books and Bibles for your Library or find more free titles.
- Quick Settings - Quickly access options to change font, font size, scrolling style, and more. Select Advanced Settings for more options.
- Search - Search for keywords and phrases.
- Book Ribbon - Save an area of text for later.
- Verse Header/Navigation - Navigate to a different area of your resource.
- Lock Toolbar - Lock the toolbar in place.

How to Log In
Logging in is an important step in using our app. This will ensure that your personal notes, highlights, etc. are synced automatically to your Olive Tree account. Logging into your Olive Tree account will also give you access to your Library of Bibles and books.
- Select the Menu icon on the toolbar.
- Select Login/Register. (If you've logged in previously, select 'Account Details' and select your email.)
- Enter your log-in information or select 'New User?' and then click the 'Login' button.

How to Download Purchases
Before attempting to download your books and Bibles, be sure to log into your app using the steps above. Once you're logged in, follow these steps to download your books:

Select the Library icon on the toolbar.
- Select the 'Cloud' icon. Resources that are not yet downloaded have a white downward facing arrow in a green triangle. Select one of these arrows to download the resource.
- Once downloaded, the cover image will be solid and you can select it to open the Bible or book in the main window.

Using the Library
Books downloaded to your Library are available for use offline. To switch between books, select the Library icon, the 'Device' tab, and choose the book or Bible you want to open.
