Windows - Downloading Books

Before you can download your resources you will need to download the app and log in. Once you have logged in, follow the steps below to download your free and purchased resources.

Downloading Your Resources

Select the Library icon on the toolbar.

Select the 'Cloud' icon. Resources that are not yet downloaded have a white arrow in a green triangle. Select one of these white arrows to download the resource.

When the download is done, click or tap the title/cover to open the resource.

Downloading Commentary Sets

If you have a commentary set in your Library, the download process is slightly different. Like above, you will start in the 'Cloud' tab in the Library. Click on the commentary set you want to download.

This will open a list of the volumes that are included in the commentary set. If you want to download the full commentary, select 'Download [#] Volumes'. The download process will start immediately.

You can also choose to download specific commentary volumes by tapping on the download arrow on or next to the volume.

Select the 'Device' tab to see which specific commentary volumes have been downloaded.

Using the Library

Once the book or commentary set is downloaded, it will appear in the 'Device' tab in the Library.

Select the 'Device' tab and choose the resource you just downloaded, such as the NKJV:

Please note that Study Bibles are downloaded as a bundle so they open differently than a regular eBook or commentary. For more information on using Study Bibles, please see this article.

Downloading Audio Books

Audio books are available to stream right away in the 'Device' tab. This requires an internet connection.

You can choose to download audio books or sections of audio Bibles by opening the book and tapping the green icon in the upper right corner of the cover image. This will make the downloaded files available for offline listening.

Automatic Downloads

We offer an automatic download feature that is useful if you have a large library and do not wish to select each book to download it. 

From within the Library, select the Options icon (three dots) in the lower right corner and select 'Options'.

Toggle 'Automatically Download Books' on (green).

Audio books are not automatically downloaded since the files are usually large. Audio books and Bibles are streamed, which requires an internet connection. See the section above for details on downloading an audio resource.

Downloading from the Store

You can also download your free and purchased resources from the Store. Follow these steps to download your books this way:

Select the Store icon on the toolbar.

Select the 'Purchased' icon at the bottom of the screen.

Locate the resource you want to download and select 'Download'.

When the download is complete, select the back arrow, the Library icon, and the 'Device' tab. Find your downloaded resource and select it to open the resource in the main window.
