Welcome to the Olive Tree Bible App! We hope that this article helps get you started with the app.
If you have not already done so, download the Olive Tree Bible App from the App Store!
Main Icons of the App
- Sidebar - Open and collapse the sidebar. The sidebar allows quick access to Bibles, Favorites, Notes, Highlights, Reading History, Messages, and more.
- History Back and Forward - Quickly navigate to/from your previous locations.
- Library - Download and access your Bibles and books.
- Store - Purchase additional books and Bibles for your Library or find more free titles.
- Verse Header/Navigation - Click here to navigate to a different area of your Bible or book.
- Reading Plans - Set up and access your reading plan to help you read through Scripture.
- Quick Settings - Quickly access options to change font, font size, scrolling style, and more. Select Advanced Settings for more options.
- Search - Search for keywords and phrases.
- Book Ribbon - Save an area of text for later.

How to Log In
Logging in is an important step in using our app. This will ensure that your personal notes, highlights, etc. are synced automatically to your Olive Tree account. Logging into your Olive Tree account will also give you access to your Library of Bibles and books.
- Ensure your sidebar is open. The sidebar can be toggled by selecting this icon:
- Select 'Sign In' on the sidebar. (If you've logged in previously, select 'Account Details' and select your email.)
- Enter your login information and select 'Sign In'. If you don't yet have an Olive Tree account, select 'Create Account'.

How to Download Purchases
Before attempting to download your books and Bibles, be sure to log into your app using the steps above. Once you're logged in, follow these steps to download your books:
- Select the Library icon.
- Ensure you are on the 'Cloud' tab of the Library. Bibles and books that are not yet downloaded are dimmed with a download arrow. Select one of these cover images to initiate the download.
- Once downloaded, the cover image will be solid and you can select it to open the Bible or book in the main window.

Using the Library
Books downloaded to your Library are available for use offline. To switch between books, select the Library icon in the toolbar and choose the book or Bible you would like to open.
