The app’s settings allow you to customize features such as font size, colors, scrolling style, hyperlink behavior, and more. This article provides an overview of the available settings, with brief explanations where helpful.
Quick Settings
Tap the Settings icon in the toolbar to quickly access the most commonly used display options:
- Font Size – Adjust the font size in the main window.
- Select Theme – Choose between the Automatic, Light, Sepia, Dark and Black themes. (Only the Light theme can be customized.)
- Vertical Scrolling – Switch between vertical and horizontal scrolling.
- Lock Toolbar – Keep the toolbar visible instead of dismissing it with a single tap on the screen.
- Font Face – Change the font style used in the main window.
- Advanced Settings – Open the full settings menu.
Advanced Settings
To open Advanced Settings, tap the Settings icon in the toolbar, then select Advanced Settings.

Fonts
- Change the font face and size for different areas of the app.
- Reset Fonts.

Colors
- Change the background and font colors.
- Reset Colors.

Scrolling
- Choose between vertical (swipe up/down) and horizontal (swipe left/right) scrolling.
- Set whether the Resource Guide and Parallel tabs are linked to the main window.

'Go To'/ T.O.C.
- Customize how Bible navigation appears depending on whether the Bible has a Table of Contents. Choose between a list view or verse grid, and adjust the grid size.

Hyperlinks
- Set a default Bible for hyperlinks.
- Choose how hyperlinks open.

Resource Guide
- Edit and order the sections and books that appear in the Resource Guide.

Lookup
- Edit and order the sections and books that appear when using Lookup.

Automatic Sync
- Enable or disable automatic syncing of your data.

Reset Fonts and Colors
- Reset all fonts and colors to their defaults. This can fix some display issues.
