iPhone/iPad - Downloading Books

To download your Bibles and books, first download the app and sign in to your account. Once you're signed in, you'll have access to your Library.

We recommend downloading your Bibles and books from the Library.

Once a Bible or book has finished downloading, its cover will appear solid. Tap it to open it in the main reading window.

Some collections, such as commentary sets, display the individual volumes before downloading. To download the entire collection, select Download All. If you prefer, you can also download individual volumes.

Study Bibles are downloaded as a bundle. For more information about using Study Bibles, please see this article.

Automatic Downloads

If you have a large Library, you can automatically download all eligible Bibles and books instead of downloading each one individually.

From within the Library, tap the Options icon in the upper-right corner.

Tap 'Library Settings'.

Turn on 'Automatically Download Books.'

Your Library will now automatically download all eligible Bibles and books, with the exception of audiobooks and audio Bibles.

Audiobooks are not downloaded automatically because the files are typically large. By default, audio is streamed, which requires an internet connection.

To make audio available for offline listening, open the audiobook or audio Bible and tap Manage Download from the audio options. You can choose to download the entire audiobook or selected sections of an audio Bible.
