The Compare feature allows you to view the same Bible verse in multiple Bibles at the same time. You can choose which of your Bibles appear in the comparison and share or copy the comparison results.
Compare a Verse
Tap a verse number in a Bible, then tap Compare in the popup menu.
The verse will appear in a pop-up window with results from your downloaded Bibles.
Use the up and down arrows to compare more Bible verses. You can view up to five verses at a time.
Choose Bibles
You can choose which Bibles appear in your comparisons.
Tap the Options icon (three dots) in the upper right corner of the Verse Comparison pop-up window.
Tap Choose Bibles.
Toggle the Bibles on or off according to your preference.
To change the order in which Bibles appear in the comparison, tap Reorder in the upper right corner and then drag the Bibles into your desired order.
Tap Done in the upper right corner when you're happy with the order of the Bibles.
Some Bible translations may include a note indicating that 'Verse numbering may differ from other Bibles'. These translations are turned off by default and can be enabled if you want to include them in your comparisons. Share or Copy a Comparison
Tap the Options icon to share or copy your comparison results.
Tap Share.
Choose an available sharing option, such as Notes, Messages, or Mail. You can also select Copy to copy the comparison results.
Copy or Go to an Individual Verse
You can also interact with an individual result in the Compare pop-up window. Long press a verse to see the available options.
- Go To Location – Open the selected Bible to the location of that verse.
- Copy Text – Copy the selected verse or verses.
