Using Cross References

A cross reference is a verse that has a similar theme or topic as the verse you are reading. Cross references help us to provide better interpretations of the Bible text.

If you haven't downloaded your cross references set yet, you will find the download steps for your device(s) in this Help article

In this article, we will go through two options for using cross references within the Olive Tree Bible App. In these examples, we are using an iPad, though the functionality will be similar in all of our app variations.

Option 1: The Resource Guide

Cross references can be found within the Resource Guide under Related Verses. First, open the Study Center by tapping "Open Study Center" in the green bar at the bottom of the screen.
