The Olive Tree Bible App allows you to manage storage by offloading resources you’re not currently using. This helps free up space on your device while keeping your content accessible when needed.
This article provides step-by-step instructions for offloading ebooks and audio Bibles.
Follow these steps to locate the Manage Storage menu:
Open the Library by tapping the Library icon from the toolbar.
Tap the Options icon in the upper right corner of the library (three dots).
In the Manage Storage screen, you’ll see two graphs:
Device Storage Graph – Shows total storage on your computer, including what’s used by the Olive Tree Bible App and other programs or files.
App Resource Graph – Displays how much space each Olive Tree resource uses. The top five largest resources are shown below the graph.
A full list of resources will appear along with the space each resource is using.
When you tap an ebook, you will see a dialog box appear under the ebook. The text in this box will tell you how much space offloading this resource will free up on your device. Tap 'Offload Book' to remove the download.
There are more offload options available for an audio Bible. From the list, tap an audio Bible.
This will take you to a new window with a list of each individual Bible book in the audio resource. You can either offload the full downloaded Bible or you can offload specific Bible books.
To offload an individual Bible book, tap the red circle with a white minus sign. Tap 'Delete' on the pop-up window to confirm that you want to remove the download. Once you have tapped 'Delete', the download will be removed from your device.
If you want to offload a full audio Bible, tap the 'Offload Audio Bible' button. Tap 'Offload' in the pop-up window to confirm that you want to remove the download. This will remove the full downloaded audio Bible from your device.
If you want to use the offloaded resource in the future, you can download it again from Cloud tab of the Library. You can learn how to download your resources in this article.
