Mac - Book Ribbons

Book ribbons let you quickly mark a location in a Bible or book so you can easily return to it later. Unlike notes, highlights, and saved passages, book ribbons mark your reading location rather than a specific verse or selected text.

Creating Book Ribbons

Select the ribbon icon to add a book ribbon.

The ribbon icon will become filled to indicate that a book ribbon has been added.

Accessing Book Ribbons

To access your book ribbons:

Ensure your sidebar is open. The sidebar can be toggled by selecting this icon:

Select Book Ribbons.

Select a book ribbon to return to that location.

Deleting Book Ribbons

You can remove a book ribbon while reading or delete it from the Menu.

While Reading

Select the filled ribbon icon to remove the book ribbon.

From the Sidebar

Select Book Ribbons.

Locate the book ribbon you want to delete.

Secondary click the book ribbon (or hold 'control' and click), then select Delete.

Deleted book ribbons cannot be recovered. Select Delete again to confirm the deletion.
