There are two ways you can sync in the Windows Store App. You can manually sync, and you can turn on automatic sync. Here are the steps for each process:
Open the app on your Windows 8 device. Hover your mouse in the upper right corner or swipe in from the right-hand side of your screen to open the Charms Bar. (If using Windows 10 please see this article for alternate steps.)
Click/tap Settings and choose Account towards the top. Click/tap Sync Now from the screen that appears. A white bar will move across the screen. When the bar disappears and shows a recent Last Sync date, sync has completed.
Automatic sync will sync your annotations to your Study Sync Account on OliveTree.com for you each time you make a change in your app, such as editing a highlight or adding a new note.
To turn on automatic sync, the steps are similar to manual sync. Open the app, open the Charms Bar, click/tap Settings, click/tab Account, and find Automatic Sync under Olive Tree Study Sync. Make sure Automatic Sync is turned to On.
