How To: Believer's Bible Commentary

Thank you for your interest in the Believer’s Bible Commentary. In this article, we will go through a few ways to use this resource in the Olive Tree Bible app, so you can get the most out of your Bible study.

Open in the Main Window

The first way to view the Believer’s Bible Commentary is in the main window. This option will allow you to navigate into the Table of Contents. To access this information, simply tap on the navigation menu.


Select the Settings icon.


Select 'Use List Layout'.


This will reveal the Table of Contents. From here you can navigate anywhere in the resource.


Open in the Parallel Window

Another way to view the Believer's Bible Commentary is in the parallel window. This option will allow you to have the commentary open side by side with your Bible text. First, open your Study Center by selecting the green toolbar at the bottom of the page.


Open the Parallel window by tapping the Parallel window icon.


Select Believer’s Bible Commentary in your Library to open it.


Open in the Resource Guide

You can also open your preferred Bible translation in the main window and have the Resource Guide open in the split window. You’ll see relevant commentary “hits” from the Believer’s Bible Commentary in the split window.

First, open the Study Center split window.


Next, ensure that you are in the Resource Guide by selecting the lightbulb 'Resource Guide' icon.


Here you’ll see relevant commentary “hits”. By selecting your desired commentary, in this case the Believer’s Bible Commentary, you will be able to see all entries in this resource related to the text you are viewing in the main window.




The Olive Tree Bible App also keeps up with the Scripture passage you’re reading in the main window with sync scrolling. This means that as you move along in the Bible text, the commentary syncs to where you are in your study. You’ll save an enormous amount of time with this feature alone.
