7.0 Android Phone - Notes

There are two different ways to add a note to the Bible text on your Android Phone. This article will teach you both options.

Add a Verse-Based Note:

Tap on the verse number where you would like to create a note. A toolbar will pop up with several options. Select the 'Note' option.

The note editor will pop up, which allows you to title the note, add text to the note and edit tags for the note. Tap on the 'Content' area to add text to your note. Tap the check mark icon in the upper right when you are finished editing the note. Tap the back arrow in the upper left to exit the note. A note icon will appear in the Bible text next to the verse you selected.

Add a Text-Based Note:

The second way to add a note is to use the tap and hold function. When you tap and hold a word, you'll get handles that allow you to select an amount of text, e.g. a word or part of a verse, and then tap the 'Note' option from the list.

A note icon will appear in the Bible text next to the text you selected to create the note.

One Important Note: Verse notes, which are made by tapping on a verse number, will appear in every Bible translation that contains that Bible verse. Text selection notes, made by tapping, holding and dragging the handles around text, are translation specific and will only appear in the Bible translation in which they were created.

Locating A Note

To view your Notes, tap the menu icon and then tap 'Notes'. This will open a list of your Notes. Use the options at the top of the list to sort the highlights by Date Created, Title, or Verse Reference.
